Gin’s such an iconic drink it was important to retain that heritage but still try to stand out in a saturated market (if you’ll forgive the pun!) How do you achieve cut-through in this area? How do you make the discerning drinker choose your gin over another? Packaging, that’s how.
Williams Chase Gin is a single estate spirit from the heart of Herefordshire, which makes it stand out in its own right but in adding the right design to the packaging we really brought it out of its shell. Vintage repro of the Union Flag made it instantly recognisable (and very popular in the Duty Free outlets too!) and the line drawing of Mr Chase on his land with his dog gave it the weight of provenance.
It’s since been listed amongst the top gins by experts in the field (also known as journalists…), industry heavy weights (booze bloggers, and the like), and taste testers at Heathrow and Gatwick Airports. Cheers!
